This notice explains what personal data DinhoReviews (dinhoreviews.com) collects, why, and what your choices are. The site is run by an individual publisher. You can reach me at albertomaria.lorenzetti@gmail.com.

Who hosts the site

DinhoReviews is hosted on WordPress.com, a service of Automattic Inc. Automattic processes data on my behalf to run the site, serve pages, protect against abuse and provide statistics. See Automattic’s privacy policy.

What data is collected

  • Visits: like any website, the server and WordPress.com site statistics process technical data such as IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed and referring page. This is used to keep the site working and to understand which articles are useful.
  • Comments: if you leave a comment, the site stores the name, email address and website you enter, the comment itself, your IP address and browser information. Your email is not shown publicly. Comments are moderated before they appear.
  • Newsletter: if you subscribe, your email address is stored by WordPress.com to send you new articles. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.
  • Contact: if you email me, I keep your message and address only as long as needed to answer you.

Why and on what basis

I process this data to operate the site and keep it secure (legitimate interest), to publish comments you submit and to send the newsletter you ask for (your consent or request), and to answer your messages.

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored in your browser. This site and WordPress.com may use:

  • Essential cookies: needed for security, load balancing and basic site features (for example remembering your comment details if you tick that option).
  • Statistics cookies: used by WordPress.com / Jetpack to count visits and measure which content is read.
  • Embedded and sharing features: if an article embeds third-party content or you use a sharing button, that third party may set its own cookies.

DinhoReviews currently shows no advertising and uses no affiliate tracking. If that changes, this notice will be updated before it happens. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some features may then work less well.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example in the EU/EEA or UK), you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, object to or restrict its use, withdraw consent, or request a copy. Email me and I will respond within a reasonable time. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Retention

Comments are kept until deleted on request. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Statistics are kept by WordPress.com under its own retention rules.

External links and images

Articles link to other websites, which have their own privacy practices. Stock photos are hosted on this site and credited to their photographers.
